"Post Concussion" A UNIQUE ROMANTIC COMEDY ABOUT HEAD INJURY

Daniel Yoon's irreverant, semi-autobiographical tale of redemption-through-brain-trauma kicks off Canadian theatrical release at the Cineplex Odeon Carlton Cinemas Toronto on Friday, April 6th.

Film festival hit "Post Concussion" opens at Toronto's Cineplex Odeon Carlton Cinemas on April 6, 2001 before rolling out to major cities across Canada and the U.S. First-time filmmaker Daniel Yoon's irreverant, semi-autobiographical tale of redemption-through-brain-trauma is a brutally funny, unsentimental yet oddly inspiring portrayal of one man's journey after a serious head injury. "Post Concussion" is expected to run for two weeks at the Carlton before screening at other locations to be announced.

"Post Concussion" has been quietly building an impressive following at over a dozen small but prestigious international festivals, charming critics and audiences alike with its grace, humour and intelligence. Among the film's awards is the famed Taos Land Grant Award - five acres of land in Taos, New Mexico - awarded by the Taos Talking Pictures Festival.

"Post Concussion" is being distributed theatrically in Canada by Continuities Distribution, which has also recently distributed Jon Crier's "Went to Coney Island On a Mission from God - Be Back By Five", and Margaret Cho's extraordinary "I'm The One That I Want."
